Looks **** hot, well made and goes Ok (V8 flight 8.0 in video attached Burrum Windfest 2021 )
But a 4 cam race sail will always be better if you can handle the extra weight...

Hi I've got both.
A 8m V8 flight and 5.7m free flight.
i use them on 2 boards which suit their different characteristics
8m on a Starboard 150 foil board, with race wings and 95+ fuselage
5.7m on a Starboard FoilX 125 with a SC.

They rig with a lot of rig tension compared to my wife's sailworks flyer sails and have more wind range, as they can be depowered with downhaul quite effectively... similar to standard np windsurfing sails.. Rydes, atlas or combats.

whereas the sailworks sails we have to compare, have a wind range which is narrower.
They are quite fragile as the monofilm is very light in the head...similar to the v8 from 2020 onwards.
i wouldn't want to attempt to do lots of foiling freestyle or have them in waves as I think you'd go through them quite easily.. but seem more robust then the equivalent severn.

The free flight is my favourite sail, as it's great to go for a cruise and is quite fast. It's capable of pushing my supercruiser faster than it really wants to go.. so may be better partnered with a faster freeride foil of about 1100cm

any other questions feel free to ask
