Howdy all,

I recently bought a Naish HA 1400 so I can use as small a sail possible in light wind. Only used it twice so far with 280 and 310 HA stabs with 4m wave sail on 105L Slingshot Wizard. Was a pretty ****ty day but It felt good through a a few good patches of wind. I shat myself a bit when taking off through a nice gust with 280 HA stab. Wasn't expecting it to be that quick.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone has any experience using this wing or something of similar size in high aspect, with a small sail or sails (4.2m and smaller) , on a small board or boards (105L or smaller). If so what do u think of performance and where are you using it? ( lake or coast) ?
Also, does anyone know if, when using a wing of this size (1400cm2) , with small wave sails (4.2m and smaller) , on small boards (105L and smaller) , if your better off with a high aspect or lower aspect wing for freeride windfoiling on the lake in relatively flat water?

I also do some foiling on the coast in swelly conditions. Any thoughts on which of the above two mentioned wings (HA or LA) ,at around 1400cm2 , would be better suited in this situation? Again, using small - smallish wave sails on small board (105L and smaller).

Any thoughts on the above would be good.

Hi, this is a link to a summary of all my sessions with that wing, you can sort by sail, board, gps category. Click on the date to go to that session page.

I find it very smooth and more stable than the 1150 or 914 and can be pushed pretty fast I think my best speed was around 19 knts.
I used it more with small sails when I was learning. Biggest sail is a 7.0 Flyier, but my board is a Micro 131.
