Thumbs Up

Just wanted to let everyone know that Boeshield T-9 has been working perfect as a longterm lubricant for the two stabilizer screws on my AFS foil, I leave the stabilizer in place for months at a time (always in salt water), and check occasionally, screws come right out using Boeshield because in addition to the anticorrosion properties, it also leaves a thin waxy layer on the metal. And the screws stay tight, maybe the waxy layer helps.

I used to use marine/lithium grease, but it attracts sand, and then used teflon tape which works but has affected the stabilizer side to side level because as you screw in the tape covered screw some of the tape can get jammed between the fuselage and stabilizer.
