I'm looking at a JP Freefoil 105L for foiling, but I'm left wondering how well it rides with a standard fin in the tuttle box for occasions. The ONLY review I found where a guy actually sails it with a fin mentioned that it was harder to get planing. That's fine, but what about in higher winds where getting on plane isn't a problem? How well does this board sail like a traditional freeride board?
The only jp that works really good on fin is the jp hydrofoil 135 from 2017. With a 50cm fin they get up to +50km/u or so. Somebody in holland posted a gps speedtest on fin some years back.
Thanks guys, I got similar results researching and even asking JP. I might go for a freestyle board that's foil ready instead.

Balz Muller uses the same MB Board for both fin and foil freestyle.

Right, some boards apparently work well for both. Both even JP told me this one wouldn't do too well on fin.
