Which one it is easier to learn for first time foil. I've got a NP Glide wind. Thanks.
Definately the hydrofoil 135. I've used both, and its more stable due to the width and more plug and play due to the tuttle box.

The freefoil 130 has a tuttle box too (as well as long tracks)
It is indeed narrower than the 135 ; width is similar to the hydrofoil 120. It remains unclear to me why JP still offers both model (Freefoil 130 and Hydrofoil 120) they seem to have a significant overlap. I suspect the 120 will disappear.
I have been using my Freefoil 130 about 5 times with a Moses vento, and it's great for learning (it is my fist year). I switched from a formula board to this board, and altough I struggle a bit the first time, I quickly got used to it... It is easy to take bad habits with a Formula board since it is so large and floaty. The optimized swing weight really makes a difference once you fly on the freefoil. The short length is not a problem for uphauling or taking off.
Personnally, I think the freefoil would be a better fit with a glide foil , with sails up to 7.0m
I did not try the hydrofoil 135, but it seems clearly more freerace oriented, and meant to carry larger sails (which does not fit so much with the NP glide program , i.e low aspect foil)
Altough some people will say that wider is better, I do not share this opinion. What matters is to have a board large enough to be able to uphaul without too much challenge. At 80 KG, a 76 cm wide board work pretty well for me, even in choppy water. According to GlisseAttitude, a wider board induces more drag to reach the foil take off speed ; so a narrower board offers the benefit to take off earlier / with less effort if you are using a small sail. Once you fly, the width does seem to help with anything, except achieve more extreme upwind angle.
There is a reason why the Slingshot Wizard is so popular and appreciated for freeriding... and it is not 85 cm wide!
If you're not into racing and prefer small sails, I think the 130 might be a better choice.

I have a NP glide wind too. Used it with a 75 cm wide freeride board.

But you, guys, think it,s an easy board (freefoil 130) to learn windfoilig if you know how to windsurf (intermediate)? i,m not sure what board i should buy...
