Hi Guys, wonder if anyone is wind foiling these two small boards and can compare?

JP Freefoil 105 - 190x65
JP Freakfoil 95 - 180x62.5

Wonder if pumping these is easier/different than bigger boards and how one whose weight is on the borderline of uphauling 95 Freakfoil would progress or feel. How are these with bigger wings, say 1100..?

Thanks

I've not used either of those two boards, but I do have the Fanatic Foilstyler 103. I weigh 80 kgs and while I can uphaul it in dead flat water, I can't uphaul it in the kind of conditions I like to use it in.

Pumping IS different because the tail is much more narrow. But you learn it and adapt. I can't sail quite as underpowered as a result though.

Hope that helps.

I don't have any of those board, but I have a Goya 105 airbold, and I test a Patrik 95 foil Style. With my weight (80 kg), The 95 is too small for low wind(10 knots). To have only one board, 105 liters is my choice. 95 liters to uphaul in wave conditions is not easy. With the 105 is easier.

Best regards

I have used neither board, but have a Severne Predator 110, which is 190 X 68. I'm 85kg and can uphaul in swell. It's tricky but doable. It is trickier to pump than my old Alien 125. The smaller board is lots of fun. 25 litres over my weight seems to be the practical limit.
