I assume some have already seen this - it looks super cool (and also frigid cold), but man, that could incur some serious brutality...

That looks fun!!, thanks jims, I snowboard so it actually looks fairly easy on relatively flat terrain, and no $100+ daily lift ticket!

Actually, the Summit snowboard team out of Colorado were using foil kites way back in the early '90's to ride UP and down ski hills.

That doe's look fun! That guy makes anything look easy. I am not sure I could survive the learning curve at this point in life.

Yeah that Balz is a talent.
The things that look great about that are that if you mess up, you can stand back up and go again. You can ride high up the "wave" and not have to worry about getting worked over if you mess it up. And being able to sail uphill, rather than having to walk back up the slope has got to be a massive plus.
Stacking would hurt tho. Full body armour and mashmallow suit would be a necessity for me.

Looks like hecka fun though.
Rather snow than dirt, but prefer water.
