Got to try my new X3 camera. Still experimenting with mounts and editing. I would appreciate any advise
Really unique view and that gives a great sense of the speed and the carves. Loved how you can see the foil in some shots.
Only suggestion I can think of is adding a gps track if you run it, and or splicing in some helmet cam footage.
No feed back on the riding you are on fire!
Great vid and riding. Looks like paradise. How strong was the wind?
Thanks John, according to the airport less than a kilometre inland it was about 25mph gusting to 40 mph. I would say I was rigged for the gusts on that day.

Very nice - I like how you keep the power on when you carve downwind, a good example at 1min ![]()

Thanks Azymuth I do love using the power of the sail in the carves. Just the windsurfer in me I guess.
Its hard to tell with the smaller blown out waves in the vid but wind is coming from my left at about 90 degrees to the wave so I try to go up wind and climb the wave to my left then jibe down the face sheeting in to begin the carve/jibe which starts pretty much into the wind. Then I actually keep the sail depowered while going downwind(down the line) and try and climb the wave again. Kind of like a bottom turn on a wave board but I am not good enough to go straight up the wave so some times it takes a few seconds. Then when I get to the top I open the sail turning the power on for a heel side carve down the wave. It is all a work in progress but is so much fun.
