I am looking to upgrade my waist harness for next session. I'm coming from a old dakine tabou kite. It was fine for really my first real harness but it doesn't offer much lumbar support and is quite flexy and likes to ride up. It is a medium but I am more of a small. Looking at newer harnesses the technology is miles ahead of my old harness and so is the price
Kiteboarding harnesses seem to be more comfortable and much more supportive then a windsurfing harness. Although I've heard good things about Dakine T7s and T8s.
One thing I do like about my old harness is the speeder bar. It seems to allow me to roll my weight around in the lines easier for foiling.

Could I use my old spreader bar on a new kiteboarding harness?
Looking on the web some of the spreader bar connections are pretty complex. Does each brand have there own unique attachment system? I assume brands want you to buy there own spreader bars. I've heard kite ones don't work well for windsurfing/foiling because of the different hook designs.
What waist harness do you foilers recommend?
