Believe it or not there are big lakes in Canada that dont freeze, get consistent wind and waves up to 20ft at times(Ie tomorrow), long sandy clean beaches and the best part they are open to sail all year round. Good group of us didn't miss a month last year and with crazy covid times travel restrictions it was awesome to to be able to get out most weekends during winter. Above freezing go windfoiling below freezing go surfing.

Little downwinder in winds ranging from 12-30kts. Was stronger at the beginning on my 3m naish force and moses 720. Wind backed off a bit in the afternoon and went side offshore(NW) so went to my 4.2 .Super fun to ride the remaining SW waves in the snow

Nice sailing. What beach are you launching from?

Epic downwinding Connor, looks like decent swells.
39kmh is quick. Love the one-handed shaka stoke at 4.35
Looks fricken cold - but nice not having to share it with Great Whites
Awesome soundtrack !!

All of us launched from Whitby beside the pier on beautiful lake Ontario, its goes super deep fast and is kinda protected by nasty SW shorebreak.

Thanks JJ, yeah they were pretty good about 1m. Hard to tell from the gopro. Was 4?C in the afternoon plenty warm. Hands weren't cold at all in these dakine which have a paper thin palm. Glad you like the music, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea sometimes

Thanks Roland, the 720 Balz pro is slippery like the old infinity 65. Awesome design, after 3 years still haven't found a wing that performs better in 25kts+ and wind swell.

JJ, should definitely try the moses 720 as it should work on your phantasm fuse if you can borrow one. Going to be trying some slingshot phantasm wings soon.

Great vid and riding Connor! I have seen so much excellent footage on the Big Lakes, you get a little bit of everything, but it's looks so darn cold.. Just pick it up move south about 2000 miles
