Hi, just wanted to share this video. Had a nice session with some friends, and taped some footage with the insta360 one x2
I was on the HG2 9.0
1000 SB front wing
115+ fuse
+0.5 shim
SB foil 100 board
My friends similar setup
Video
What do you use to mount it to your mast?
Actually it's grabbed to the boom
It does not fit SDM mast, but it does on a RDM
I bought this mount from amazon:
www.amazon.com/NUOBAKE-Motorcycle-Accessories-Insta360-Cameras/dp/B0B9JDFLWR/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=insta360+mount+motorcycle&qid=1673490052&sprefix=insta360+mount%2Caps%2C227&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFKODhOVUNTNjZNUVMmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA4NTk0MTFCUTUxTlRPUjNKREMmZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMTAyOTIzMTJNRzhEV0JOWjJFUlgmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
It's got the helmet mount that's really good too, here's a video made using it (with full 360 video you can scroll around)_
I had seen those mounts but was sticking to flymounts. I got the latest one, which is simpler than the previous boom clamp designs (haven't used it yet). They eventually corrode up though and I haven't found a good solution to service them properly yet. May switch to that design...
Also really cool video. How do you like that 100cm wide board?

I really do not use it every session (mount and camera) but it's seems really good stainless steel (no corrosion).
Regarding the 100cm board, I love it
The extra width at the tail makes it better to get the back foot a bit more out and get better stance upwind
It pops out pretty early on a plane/flight (with good pumping) in 6-7 knots, and when it's windy (20-23 knots is the max I sailed it with the 9.0) it doesn't seem to big actually. Goes through the chop nice, always railing to windward.
Thank you, that's good to know. I may have to grab one of those mounts.
You're doing well with that board in the higher winds. I get sketched out with the 9.0 as it gets close to 20kts if there is a lot of chop and swell to go with it.
