Hi,

For a while now I have been using 81cm (145lt) freeride foil board and I am thinking to upgrade to a race board 91cm 195lt+ board.

Expectations are to be able to take off early (or just to be able to take off??) in And more control..

Am I thinking right or wider and bigger(volume) dont mean that it will match to my expectations? Any other advise about bigger boards are welcome!

I am using sb setup is fw 800&1000, rw 330&-255, fus 95+&115+
Using race sails
And I am 90kg

Cheers

Yes yes.....
Big weight and small hi aspect foils need wide boards and big heavy race sails.
You should cover winds from 10-30+ with sails from 5-10 meters.

RRD 91 with either RRD 850 or 1550 front foil, 85 mast.
Great board except the paint likes to chip off.
5.0 to 8.3 sails.
