I have a few foil setups. What are you using (pics please) for foil protection (ie bags) when you're out of the water? I know there are some specific bags that come with foils, but what else is out there?
I have SB foils, various Fuse lengths & wing sizes. I'm up for ideas.
I use an archery bag at the moment. I can fit in two wings, 3 masts, 2 stabs, fuselage and all the bits and pieces.
I do like the look of the Fanatic Aero surf foil bag though.
I never use the cover that came with my Slingshot foil unless I am transporting it assembled on a boat as I store mine disassembled to prevent corrosion issues.
For air travel I ended up using a gun case with the sum of all three dimensions of 62 inches (limit for oversize charge). https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/barska-loaded-gear-ax-300-gun-case-16brkalddgrx300hrgua/16brkalddgrx300hrgua
With creative cutting of the foam I managed to fit a SB Race kit plus Millennium wing and 95 cm fuse.

This case survived my trip to Bonaire just fine.
I'll clarify. I'm interested in protection when the foil is assembled. I have the Starboard team bag and do use it when the foil parts are disassembled. But I leave my foil assembled for the season and want to protect it when it is all put together.
Yes, I see a lot of foils that stay assembled all summer. Mine, too. We all have covers for the wing, stab, and mast, some even for the fuse. On the beach you gotta keep all that expensive carbon covered up from the damaging sun UV and heat.
Sailworks makes custom covers for any part of any assembled foil. I suspect other lofts or shops do as well.
I often just use my work socks slipped over the ends of the wings. Thick / stretchy perfect ( plus you will always have a spare set of socks in the car :)
