Hi Guys, Is there a low cost foil ($1500ish) which would be better suited for those of us around 100kg? I plan to use it with a 186ltr formula board. Thanks

the new mantafoil is affordable and has very early lift with a good speed (I had one, I'm 95kg)
Then my budget was raised so I moved to Carbon

Yep I will be there in the morning Swindy . Is there a WA supplier for the Mantafoil? Stroppo also suggested this might be a good one for those with a little extra weight.

No retailers here that I can find,as its a 3 in 1 I checked out kite and sup shops local but no mantas. Shq or sc boardsports look like the only ones but I could be wrong.

Theres a second hand (demo) version of the Neil Pryde RS One Convertible foil for sale at around $777 on seabreeze in the accessories section Jonski. They have a bigger front wing which will help bigger guys get planing earlier. Its in queensland but its from a shop so i reckon they'd be able to freight it to you reasonably quickly.

AHD AFS Wind85 is a full carbon foil for 1300E, and really nice quality with big stable wings too. Is made in france though. (Like all foils) also mentionable, for 2019 starboard also releases the race with a aluminum mast. Then when your skills get better you only have to buy the carbon mast and you're done.

A friend has a Starboard Freeride and I have had a couple of sessions on it ; it is a fantastic foil , a bit under $2000 I think.
it has a large 1100 cm sq wing and a rock solid mast.
the deep tuttle head is the type that has a flange to distribute some of the load to the bottom of the board which is worth considering if you are not using a foil specific box.
