Anyone have any issues with go foil screws on the deck? It's rippping my knees up. I feel it needs a cover of some sort.
It's a go foil attaching to a 5'0 jimmy Lewis super fly.
Cheers

Something like this? www.free-ride-addicted.fr/e-boutique/rondelles-de-pont/
or this? www.lokefoil.com/en/shop/deck-washer

If shipping is prohibitive, your local shop may have something similar or if you have access to a 3d printer.

Then, there are knee pads.

You can also cut a piece out of a plastic cutting board from the kitchen.

Hi Pete!

I use these on my foil board: www.bigsurfshop.com/product/3d-plastic-washer-starboard/

They should be available wherever you are located :)

My foil came with countersunk hex screws and stainless turned countersunk washers (they're also known as cone washers, cup washers, volcano washers).

The whole thing squashes down into the deck grip and makes a nice flat surface.

You can also get pressed ones but they're hollow on the back. They work but the edge of the washer might cut into the deck a bit. You could put round washers under them.

If you're changing screws I highly recommend Torx screws. They are easy to tighten and I have had no wear since I started using them.

Cheers all
Ended up going with flat screws and rubber washers. It's working a treat.
I always wanted to get on kook of the day and I reckon the knee pass would have done it.
Thanks again
