After a few weeks of work my foils are almost ready to hit the water, just a matter of adding mast tracks to the bottom of the board next week and a bit of bog and sanding.

Excuse the spelling errors in the subject line, I hadn't had my morning coffee yet!

Looks good, mask looks a long way back on the fuselage compared to other windsurf and kite foils, any reason?

To be honest, gut feel, I've gone to the extreme of having in back but can move it forward quite easily as I've reinforced the area from the front foil to where the mast is now.

Having it back i feel will move the centre of lift forward closer to the middle of the mast load and sailers weight and yet have the mast of the foil between your feet to keep the sailing feeling as close to normal as possible.

Does your front foil have a ffap? If so are you fitting an auto stabilizer arm off the nose like on a moth and the other flap control mech?

It does but I have locked it in place for the time being . The foils are old Moth foils I have modified.

I set some mast tracks in HD foam and routed out a 135L HyperSoinc I picked up on gumtree. The big concaves are a bit annoying but working around it.

Once I finished getting the holes right for the tracks I laid up a few layers of DB carbon and some uni and then set the tracks in. Put the lot under a mild vacuum as the foam the board is made of is super light and didn't want to crush it.

Ill be laying up a layer or two over the top tonight and have a little bit to do on the foils still and then should be right to give it a go ;)

Best thing to ever happen to a hypervomit.
