I was getting concerned, I had heard about the stiff winter north winds, and it took a while to deliver but 2 nice days meant I could start stringing things together!

For these particular wind directions at Jetty Park, FL wind foiling is still my preferred tool over winging. The wind can be very light on the inside, super gusty/strong in the middle and with crazy wind shifts off the end of the jetty. It's a struggle with a wing unless its got heaps of North East in it.

The next adventure will be a solid 6-7 mile down winder where you can stay in the swell line the wholes way! The waves also get much bigger the more south you go.....looking forward to more froth

Nice vid. Totally get the yeehah at 3 mins - flying down smooth swells in side-offshore winds
Stoked you're getting good ocean conditions for windfoiling.

Awesome work Dean !. 6-7 mile downwinder sounds dreamy. You've got some great conditions down there.

Love it Dean! Thanks!
Give me a heads up on the good days or downwinders, I'll drive down. Your water is 13 degrees warmer! Looks like your gonna get the cold air too on this next front.
I agree with azymuth you set that last ride up perfect and the yeeew during the bottom turn was called for!

That last wave I was so far in front of it but the amazing thing with a foil you can almost stall it to a stop and wait for the swell to catch up.
Wind foiling in swell is just amazeballs

The 6-7 miler will be the good start.
There is plan (one day) for a 17 mile down winder in swell the entire way.

Cheers mate and yes the coldest front for 5 years comes in tonight. I'm like what! That's why I left Texas

I'll keep an eye on the forecast for future conditions and will let you know.

Tomorrow morning looks a tad brisk Brian...thankfully just a couple of chilly mornings and back to normal temps in a few days, let's go WWF!

Brave man riding the shore break, not afraid to hit the ground? For warmer conditions, come down to Miami Virginia Key next weekend, high tide midday, and some NE-E winds

I have heard of that spot from foilers up around Kelly park! once we get a transit van, we will definitely do more travelling around FL.

and yes, the shore break is a challenge and a couple of times I pushed foiling over the sand bars it's only a matter of time before I push it into close
