They look great but I've never seen them in person (I'm in USA where the options are limited). I'd be glad to hear about any insights you may have - performance, durability, comparison with other brands, etc. I'm looking at the 134 for free ride foiling on sails 5.2-8.5.

I had my hands on them 3 years ago in a windsurf shop.
If you knock on an Isonic with your knuckles , then an FMX slalom board you know strait away :)
Egg shells vs something much more solid.

I would hold off on the foil free-ride boards. Same range from 2021.
Wait for the new updated boards to come out.

Patrik has also a nice range, but same story. Wait for the new range if you can.

Thanks very much Robertos - that's the kind of feedback which is very useful - do you mean the FMX feels like the eggshell?

No sorry the Isonic felt like an egg shell. The FMX had a much better build quality.

Pretty happy with my Hyperion 184 since Sep 2020 ( recreational use, no competition)

Can't make any comparison construction-wise since the SB boards I had where all wood-sandwich and not the lighter variants.

Still, the high gloss finish of the FMX is prone to scratches : would have preferred a more matte look.

ps:don't know how's your French : www.windsurfing33.com/forum//viewtopic.php?f=15&t=128405

I had Hyperion slalom foil 178 for 1 year and used both IQfoil and recently with F4 race foil set up. It is one of the lightest boards in this size. I love it compared to my 150 SB foil board. The paint they use very sleek apparently used in New Zeeland for race sail boats . Price was for me was cheaper compared to similar boards of other brands. You could get it from Micah Buzianis, USA distributor. There is extensive videos on youtube for anyone wants to see performance. (like berowne's posts)
