Unusual easterly storm 25-5 knots during our early session - booted to 35 later.
Epic downwinding in the gusts but it dropped out suddenly so had a relaxing swim in

Cheers Mark for return camera duties, tricky following today, wind against tide, swells in the channel a fair bit bigger than they look on the GoPro.

Simmer 720cm2, 3.4m Blacktip, Slingshot Mutant 100

Cheers Dean - I see on FB you had ankle surgery. What was the issue? Too much Foil Drive ?

Cheers Matt and JJ

The last year or so, I seem to be picking up injuries left and right....the joys of turning 50, lol.

I had torn the lateral ligaments and both peroneal tendons, from a combo of a few bad jump landings and repetitive stress on the right ankle (that's probably 40+ years of watersports).

At least I can stand up today after a week on the leg walker

Core thats a bummer but I am sure you will be back on the water having fun before you know it. All the best
Azymuth great to see you ripping it up in the vid. Nice to be the "subject" rather than the photographer.
