The has been some great foil style coverage on EFPT - perhaps more today depending on the wind.

The full coverage from yesterday is below. The spinny freestyle moves are not that exciting but I think back loop at 2:22:00 looks awesome - something to work on this summer

Looking forward to the highlight reel. That's a lot of footage to wade through. Any idea of the wind strength?

I really like seeing this, it's much more reachable with local winds than normal planing freestyle to me.

Started working on getting into switch on the foil, and some other things, but currently a little scared of jumping. I really want to overcome that. I've been getting the foil wing out about | | that high intentionally.

Timid attempt into switch then crash below. I find it easier to foil out of the jibe in switch than step into it at the moment. Probably went too far downwind for good control:

Maybe holding on with back hand too long. Fly higher in light winds and commit to the carve all the way through. Clew first foiling is hard. I fly less that half mine but falling in is usually when jumping off at the end of the sesh. But not always LOL. It'll come, woohoo

Thanks, I may just go for it after a little more practice. we'll just need some more wind!

I am able to do it fast on a fin, staying planing, and have almost gotten in the rear switch but for some reason I've been nervous about the foil part. I think the strap spread makes it a little bit more of a reach on the foilx vs. the kode or dyno where they are right next to each other.

More wind for day 4 live. Very good to watch that kind of live show compared to the usual best of compilation.
First, I find it very inspiring (though I'll probably never go much more adavnced than dw360) watching the top riders. And seeing that even top riders sometime fail and even struggle to keep flying makes me feel not so
I mean Bozo still, but after all a flying Bozo.
Foiling is really a game changer : almost every where is a foiling spot. No need for Hawaian swell, or Leucate howling wind to have fun, as long as you have a patch of (deep enough) water and a light breeze.
