What Duotone sails are you using for windfoiling?
I currently only have one Duotone sail in my quiver, the 4.8 Super Session.
I have two. A couple years ago I bought an Ftype 5.8 (dual cam) to be my light wind sail. And it's fine for that. With a 1500 front foil and some vigorous pumping I can fly in about 10 knots. But honestly it's just fine, nothing special. I don't know what the sail weighs, but it seems a bit heavy to me. I weigh 83 kgs.
Recently I picked up an Fpace 4.0 because I was increasingly frustrated with my current daily drivers (hint: rhymes with cringe). I was frustrated because while they do have great low end they become overpowered easily and lose all sense of stability. Our winds on the SF Bay are very thermal, gusty and non-steady. Not perfect conditions for the "cringe". So on to the Fpace.
It doesn't have the bottom of the Cringe by any means, but it is amazingly stable. I was out in winds gusting over 30 a few sessions ago and while I was overpowered, the sail was amazingly stable. I was uncomfortable but not "scared". I'm strongly considering selling off my old quiver and buying a new one. One caveat though: I tried the sail first with a KA mast and thought it was garbage. My dealer loaned me the Duo platinum and it completely changed the sail, obviously for the better.
I have the 6.0 and 5.0 Supersession. I use with an Alien 125 and Redwing 1400 and 1000. The 6 has a usable range from 10 to 17kts, the 5 from 13 to 20kts. They compare favourably with the Gator 6 I previously owned.
My smallest foilsail is a 5,8 e-pace, super stable, big trimrange with the downhoul.
In combination with a starboard race carbon foil and future fly 145 flying camel foilboard.

I'm staying away from any cams in sails under 7.0. My 6.0 Flyer has been a great sail, but out in waves it doesn't like to luff well.
my 4.8 Super session looks a bit like the new Super Hero. I'm wondering if they are basically the same?

I agree with that now. If I could snap my fingers and make a change it would be to the Fpace (cam less).

I was really kind of sold on the F pace style. But I am not so sure about them now that I see they have some kind of cam inducer in the luff sleeve or pocket. I would like a sail that flags or luffs well. Maybe to Idol would be better?
If you are talking about that sleeve inducer thing, just ignore it. The sail flags great and I don't even know it's there. Marketing at work imo. That's for the free models.

Good to know. Still may consider the Idol though.
I use F Pace 2021 6.4 with 1500 foil from 10 + knots up to 15 + and find my lower threshold is improving as my technique improves.

Technique definitely helps as we get better. I'm still a fan of having power in the sail, enough that I don't have to pump a lot. I work plenty hard during the day, that I don't want to work hard at pumping, just to ride a small sail.
Well I ordered a 3.4 and 5.8 F Pace style today. 3.4 is probably a March delivery and the 5.8 could be here in the next week or so.

Will do. Although after my session on Saturday I have decided not to get the 3.4 F Pace. I'm still planing on the 5.8 though. After talking with the guy who is building my new board, I decided to Order a Hotsails Maui Microfreak 3.8 and will probably get the 3.2 this winter.
Well I had a chance to try the 5.8 F Pace style. Simply put, I like it. The day I tried it was a strange wind day. I got out as it was dropping off and managed about 45 minutes on the water. It feels pretty powerful to me, I even said to a buddy that was winging that I felt it was nearly as powerful as my 6.0 Flyer. It seemed to pump really well, and I hate having to pump. In the conditions I had, I did need to pump a few times, but I felt like I was able to get up in the same wind or slightly less than I would have on my 6.0 Flyer. Might have just been that I was so stoked to try the F Pace out. Once flying, I felt like it really had some good pull. There were no waves to speak of so I can't really say how it luffs when riding on a swell. initial thoughts are that I like it a lot and may consider getting another one or two in a smaller size.

Forgot to mention some important details..
Rider: 6'4", 225 pounds and 53 years old. Board: Levitator 150
Foil: Axis Windsurf Fuse with BSC 1060 and 400 Carbon Stab. Wind: approximately 12-15mph, lulls we're a bit less I'd guess, gusts may have been a touch more, but not by much. No whitecaps in between the pier arms in the Muskegon Channel.
