Very good Azymuth. Isn't liquid water great? Bubbles, ripples, eddies, chops and waves. Where would we be without it?
(and Von Karman vortex streets at 1.29, 3.30 !)
Beauty!
I love these breaching/sliding exits from the carving 360ies. On purpose or just a mishap?
Keep practising them and I can already picture you foiling out of them backwards!

What do you make of these bubble blasts 1-2m behind the foil?

Yes, what's that? Could be related to the Karman Vortex Streets but the spacing is a lot wider. It seems to be at about the spacing of the chop. Maybe an interaction between the wake and the chop? Von Karman, rated as the #1 aeronautical/fluid dynamics geek of the 20th century, could tell us if it is something new to science, deserving to be named after the discoverer.
Is that the same phenomenon at 20 seconds?
( I've watched it all thru a few times now. 10/10 for artistic merit JJ. )
Any American knows. We are watching an Australian video so there can be only one answer: the shark following you. ![]()
This happened recently to a kitesurfer in Florida, USA - something tasted his stab.
