A Formula Board helps you get on the foil quickly and the width provides the leverage over the rig....

Have you reinforced the fin box or are they strong enough already
I personally have not bothered and have had zero issues but according to some of the top guys it is completely random. Some boards are for me and others break within a few hours I guess better safe than sorry. The major pressure is on the front of the fin box (bottom of the board). I was considering a small flap on the front of the fin to help spread the load instead of going to all the effort of reenforcing the whole box? Not sure it that is a realistic option though?
I'm on an original iSonic 121L 75cm wise board with no reinforcing.

I'm using a 2nd hand Fanatic Formula Ti with no problems so far (but I've only been out 3 times so far).
I'm also using a Slingshot foil with their "2018 SLINGSHOT HOVER GLIDE TUTTLE CONNECTOR" which spreads the load over the bottom of the board, similar to what Brett was suggesting above.
