FreeRide with short compact board and high aspect foil wing.
This makes things easier on flat water.

Thanks, and good music too! So any impressions?, I was thinking of doing them same with my Goya Bolt 135 slalom board, using the new AFS 900 wing, but thought that wings should match board width, and the 900 is 100 cm wide versus Bolt at 80 cm.

This video isn't from me. Just another rider using the same foil I do with the same ride style. All Aeromod front wing are high aspect wings, some just more than others. Just to illustrate my point : higher aspect wings gives you much more glide, so much easier to carefully carve throughout any jibe.

The FreeXL wing I use on this video is a just over 1m wide and I use a 62cm wide board and inboard straps. No roll control problem at all. With the smaller 180 stab I tried lately, it is even easier to roll.
And considering take off, I am always amongst the few first to fly.

Narrow boards are also good in the chopp as they put less force on the mast, varrying water level due to waves does not wobble the foil. I lately used my 59cm wide board with my 730 Phantom wing in strong winds and it was just great.
I have sailed the Aeromod Free-xl and it is the best light wind stuff I know.
