Showers and no wind predicted, glorious sunshine and a decent SSE instead! The usual suspects joined me, Nick, Bushy, Stu, and newbie John "shipping channel" Demol looking like a veteran
Patchy 15 knots, SR 140 + Gator 6.5 + Supercruiser, never powered enough to climb upwind but fantastic day out

They always seemed to hold some sort of an attraction way out there on the horizon. First to turn back is the loser. John's still winning?

I did long offshore runs because my gybing is rubbish ... John does them just because he can ...
