Looks like there were some nice big sets out there, what size were the waves JJ and what was the wave period, 10sec?
Looks awesome JJ. How do you guys launch from even a small shorebreak? Love to get out there but might need another season under my belt.

The conventional waves at the surf break were about waist high at about 14 secs - but also superfun were the insane 1 to 1.5m lumps that were just about everywhere. Ocean skatepark ![]()

The shorebreak was a little tricky that day - but most often in summer it's not an issue.
If it's 12 to 20 knots without a groundswell it's easy to get out especially by December when the sand has built up on the south side of the groyne.
You'll love the steady wind and turquoise water ![]()
But what about the method JJ? (It's the only one of JJ's tricks I'm even close to mastering). Someone picked it up and pointed it out on one of your previous videos. A real "why didn't I think of that" moment when you try it out and see how easy it is launching and docking with a sea breeze onto a sandy beach.
