Probably our last winter front - NW 20 to 30+ knots.
Even small river windswells are crazy fun to carve downwind
Phantasm 730 - super-controllable in the brutal gusts.

That's a raging wind but like you said the 730 eats it up for some super smooth riding.

Just like the i76 it covers a huge spectrum, I was out in 13 knots today on it today and we have not had any crazy windy days so its great to see how far you can push that wing

Half-straps take awhile to get used to. The Slingshot straps are super quality, but not cheap.

Nothing beats regular footstraps in bigger conditions however half-straps are worth considering if you've had an injury - hard to imagine I could get my foot trapped.
You kinda get used to having slightly less foot engagement from the footstrap and compensate with more grip from the sole of your foot, if that makes sense.

2 pros of half-straps are - it's super quick/easy to slide my feet in/out of the strap after gybing and I can wear regular Vibram super-grip shoes.
