Kind of long and uneventful, but the 360 interaction is kind of cool. This is my new Hot Sails Maui Speedfreak 6.5m. I dig it a lot and plan to pick up a 5.5m.
Nice job. You are in stealth mode with the back suit, helmet and sail.
I can't tell what type of mount you settled on and how do you like it.
good idea. I will be on the lookout for a black boom ![]()
It's a gopro max on a k4 harness mount regular length pole with support plate

someone on seabreeze said that regular length pole was better for 360 camera's, but I did not try extended or long
I like the set up very much. Editing the gopro footage is great in their player for 2D, but the workflow to get 360 footage up on vimeo was a bit more cumbersome, but I don't know if that is a gopro thing or just a 360 thing
Ok, apparently I've been living in the tech dark ages since I've never seen one of these 3D videos. Way cool. I first watched a bit of it on my phone which doesn't support the 3D format and I figured it was a typical San Fran psychedelic experience video. The 3D works on my computer and it was pretty fun panning around. I watched the top of your sail for a while, noted you sail mast and foot strap positions, watched the consistency of flight height above the water (very nice), and then panned around enjoying the view. Thanks for taking the time to put the video together.
Were you using the Apollo 60?

Haha, glad you liked it. Yes I was using apollo 60. I am going to give the infinity 65 another go with that set up soon, to compare.
When I watch on my phone (2020 model) i can change the viewing angle by turning around while i hold the phone.
