Could you use the 115+ fuselage and race foils with this board and how does it compare to Slalom foil board?
Deck plan shape is very similar to previous design..same square nose, but 2cm shorter.
The tear drop aft shape is similar to the slalom, but the nose on the slalom is more oval, presumably for greater speed.
Theres a new bevel similar to the Jp foil boards underneath the nose.
From the information on the deck, it can be used with all the Starboard foils.
There's no other obvious information about the new 2022 boards anywhere that I can see.
Perhaps similar in construction but design is as you see.
The 2020 and 2021 design are the same but differ in construction, between flax balsa and wood
don't expect to see any in Australia starboard are kinda useless ive been waiting for parts since FEB so don't expect these here any time soon
Thanks for the above information. Have you managed to use the 2022 board and if so can you give any feedback on it and how it compares to the 2020 model?

I owned the 2021 150 freeride. Had the 1000 and 800 wings, with a 7.0/8.0/9.0. It felt most balanced with the 800 wing, 115+ fuselage, -1 shim and either the 8.0 or 7.0. Footstraps placed outboard and as far back as possible. With the 1000 wing, it felt like I couldn't get enough leverage over the foil to get the board to go as far upwind as the wing wanted to go - as if the foil wanted to go higher upwind, but the board wouldn't come along with it, so to speak. WIth the 800 wing, everything felt perfectly balanced.
Should add a disclaimer that I tried a 9.0 HG4 on it, but there was just so much weight from the rig that I could never get it to feel balanced, no matter how far back the mast foot was. So probably better to stick to 8.0 (possibly 8.5) or smaller.
I switched from the freeride to the 2022 91 slalom after about 6 months, as I wanted to use larger sails. Everything just felt better, while the jump up from the 85cm > 91cm width didn't feel drastic. The 91 slalom feels more similar to the 85 freeride, whereas the 95cm IQFoil board and 100cm race boards both feel significantly 'bigger' and heftier when flying, and most importantly when trying to pump the board onto the foil.
The big caveat is that the wood sandwich 150 freeride felt absolutely indestructible... I'd dropped the rail on concrete or dinged it on metal faucets etc and there wouldn't be nary a scratch on it. Likewise, it took a lot of heavy crashing before the nose softened up and had to be repaired. The 91 slalom and other carbon reflex models are almost guaranteed to crack if you catapult with a big sail on them.. so have the Solarez ready.
The local dealer informed me that 2021 and 2022 freeride 150 are identical. Not correct?
The cutouts are definitely deeper/more pronounced on the 2022 model. Whether the average rider will be able to feel a difference, I am not sure. I certainly prefer the color of the newer model though ![]()

I am having a similar experience on the 2020 model. I have an original 95cm (black fuse) with an 800 front wing, mast track all the way to the back, footstraps as far back as possible and still feel unbalanced/backfooted. With the 115 plus it feels much better. Interesting comment about the larger sails, I use it with an 8.1 Ezzy hydra sport but was considering a larger rig, maybe I wont now!
Original 95 fuselage is extremely back footed, not useable with the 800/255. Passable with the 1100/500
