SB just updated their foils mini-site. Looks like a simpler lineup with fewer, more tunable models. New freeride model looks to bridge gap between low and high aspect design.

Exciting developments!

Interesting that they've dropped the 75cm fuselage for the freeride foil setup, and moved to the 95+.

Ive tried the 1100/550 wings on a 95+ fuselage, even with the -2 deg shim, it's so front footed to make it a undesirable combination
Maybe the 550 tw has less angle built in now ?

No news of the slalom wings or slalom fuselage either.

Considering it's a modular platform, with a multitude of possibilities Starboards marketing and relevant information isn't the best.

Do you think they changed the 95+ fuselage since 2020 or is it still exactly the same?

Also they put some descriptions for possible upgrades depending on each kit on the SB-foil website - thats good. Kind of a must-have for a modular plattform!

I wonder about the PLUS designation for the 95+ fuselage. Since they had moved the mast connection point further aft for the 115+ versus the 115 (minus the PLUS), I wonder whether they did that as well for the 95+ versus for the former 95.

If so, that might explain why the foil is so front-foot-heavy as mentioned above. The PLUS moves the front wing further forward of the mast connection point.

My Moses Race 900 has the front wing so much further forward that I have to stand in front of the footstraps and ride strapless. It works, but I prefer to be in the footstraps. The mitigation to all of this is to foil with big race sails that have enough sail mast base pressure to balance the more-forward wing.

I don't think the 550 tail is designed for the + fuselages. Even the 330 is a bit big.

it is written that with the wing raceplus 800 takeoff from 5 knots. I don't believe it. 9-10 knots can still be
