Without drawing too much attention to it there is a Slingshot Wizard 103 (super short - 152cm) that I'm looking at buying online. I currently ride the Naish Micro Hover (131 ) with the Fanatic Flow 900 wing. I absolutely love this combo but am keen to get an even more responsive board with less volume and swing weight. I do have the tuttle mount for the Flow so thats not a problem.
I'm keen on peoples thoughts on this combo. Yep I know waterstarting is pretty much essential and that tacking is near impossible. Specifically I'm interested in whether the Fanatic Flow mast mounted in the Slingshot 103's fixed tuttle position will create any lift problems (too much / not enough). I found the plate mount essential for the Flow when mounted on the Naish Micro as it generated heaps more lift than the Naish 1150 wing.
I'm guessing from all the awesome videos coming out of WA (and seeing their set-ups) that people are going to say convert to the Slingshot foils but at this stage thats not an option finacially.
Any thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated.

Compatibility will depend on the amount of forward / back adjustment available in the footstrap positions so that the front wing is centered between the front and back straps. Get the seller to provide the distances from the front foil mast bolt hole to the front and back strap fixings for both the front and back footstraps, then check against the distance of the front wing from the foil mast of your assembled fuselage.

Good call and makes sense. Thanks
The Naish boards have a bit of a unique box position to suit the smaller foil to mast distance on their foils. The foil mast is almost directly under the rear footstraps or slightly forward of the them.
Slingshot 103 looks like front Tuttle bolt is in the middle of rear footstraps so I expect it will be fine as that's similar to the most other boards i.e. fanatic, Severne, starboard
I got a Flow1000 can probably arrange to test ride that board for you if it's the board in thinking of.

Thanks Swoosh but no need to test ride it, appreciate the offer. I'm hoping the shims will overcome any issues. If I can find a freight company that won't charge an arm and a leg I'll take the gamble.
