Epic 3 day storm in WA
35 knots is fun with the Simmer 2.8m Youth wavesail
Rigs nice on a 340 mast

Changed the GoPro setting to Linear POV (headcam) which captures truer vision of the windswells than SuperView (clew-mount) which flattens the waves.

There's almost no current in the Swan River - it's mirror flat on windless days.

No one else out.. not surprised
Reckon even the 2.8 may have been a handful when it went 40+

I saw you coming over the sandbar on the way back in... thought that was a pretty gutsy move.

Awesome video. What about Half hook strap? Can you jump with it? I'm thinking to put just the back

Totally epic Azymuth!. That is some huge wind driven swell. I love high wind, tiny sail days.

Cheers all

2.8m Simmer Vox Youth sail is surprisingly stable and easy to use.
Thanks Tom for the pix

Great Vid. Awesome carving. The swells looked sweet. What is really crazy is the 20knt difference between the lulls and gusts. Those "surprises" would be a handful to deal with.
