Haven't tried it yet . Set it up for windsurfing/foil . When there was enough wind yesterday, the tide was out.
I'm trying soon with a boat or jetski tow .
I have extra short masts 46 cm and 61 cm .
How should I set the foil up for this ?
TIA - now in Prince Edward Island - CANADA
Just guessing. Based on my experience winging the shredsled, for Boat or jetski I would probably have the foil more towards the back of the track (maybe 1/4 from back of track). If you find you need too much rearfoot pressure to keep it on the foil, then start moving it fwds
Don't over think it because you can move your feet. Use the A postion on your fuse so that the wing is close to the mast. Put the foil in middle or towards the back of the track. Place your back foot near where the foil attaches. Your board is big enough that you can belly start and work your way up to your feet. Have the driver go slow say 5 knots untill you get your feet than give them the sign to speed up to foiling speed, roughly 10 or 11 knots. This is a very easy thing to do where the wake board launch is much tougher for beginers. Tow foiling is so fun and a great way to focus on learning to FOIL!
How has the wake foiling been going?
Had a 15 minute session from a jetski tow from a stranger , I met at the beach. Cousin is unreliable . I even put an ad in local kijiji and Facebook. Nothing from that . A waterski instructor offered , if I brought a spotter . Hmmm, didn't follow up . He is kinda far away . I have a commuter EV .
