Hi all,

First time on here.

I and feverishly waiting on my new Walden Mini Mega Magic (what a mouth full) surfboard 7'6'' 23 1/2'' 3 5/8'' 74 ltr

Just wondering if anyone has one of these boards, how do they go. and any thoughts on short long boards or long shortboards. The reason I am going for this board, my shoulders are a mess and on north coast of Tassie waves are fat and mush but should go OK on the east and west coasts....I thought the volume will help with paddling but still be able to turn it.

also I have a 5 foot 11 twin fin a shaper told me it is circa 1970s it is a Scott Dillon board shaped by Shane Horne. Would anyone know much about this board . is it a keeper??

That is a big hunk of board. At 74 litres you shouldn't have any paddling problems

keep ya board
and walden boards are slick and good that fella makes a good board.
rocker always in the right spot with correct fin alignment.....
man fin alignment is where its at, actually fin alignment is critical, get a couple pop out boards and take a six inch ruler in if you gonna buy one off the rack....
either one has fins in right spot or they both dont...
enjoy ya walden.
i had his compact disc which was sick and a couple earlier ones

The board sounds great. Bit like a 57 Chevy I used to have. Sorry mate had to throw that in. I've been looking at the Hayden shapes single fin with similar dimensions. Good luck. I would definitely keep the old shooter.

That still looks in good shape for its age, I'm no expert but I would say its worth hanging onto and definently in restorable condition.
