Plenty of old single fins around. The triple stinger is a bit more unusual, and aftermarket (?) leash plug is in an odd spot. Keep it, and surf it for variety every now and then.

Can you put a photo up of the decal, showing the brand/maker and any other details on size or who it was made for?

You can try the board bazaar on Swellnet http://www.swellnet.com/news/rearview-mirror/2014/08/12/board-bazaar-july-2014

Also www.boardcollector.com/ and www.facebook.com/groups/VintageSurf/

And of course search ebay for vintage boards to get an idea of what people may be prepared to pay.

Let us know the outcome.

People will want to know the dimensions ( L x W x thickness) and who shaped it. Knowing the shaper will help identify it's build date and value. Look for any writing that may run along the middle stringer. Also a board in profile photo helps those interested.

is it a mcgringor? or a mcgrigor?

If it's a mcgringor it will probably be worth less than a mcgrigor.

Actually for an older board it is a good shape and not too damaged. Worth having it restored I reckon. mcgrigor boards were a respected make and were popular in the 70's. If you are near cronulla go see Dave at jacko's (he is a master restorer) or he may be able to value it for you.
