Hi guys
I am considering buying one of the above boards. Does anyone have any feedback on them?
Obviously firewire is more expensive ($960) and more refined looking shape and better durability because it's epoxy. I like future fins.
The amazing grace is only $400 at the moment. It has fcs boxes and i currently only have futures which is annoying. The shape looks a bot less refined and Im fairly sure its glassed with polyester resin.
I will probably end up kitesurfing with the board too and having a foil mount installed.
What are you thoughts?![]()

yeah i passed on the evo copy from them due to lack of futures fins. they have no plans to make it an option sadly. good prices not sure how well built they are. the newer firewires dont seem to be as tough as a few years back either - would be wary of trying this as a kite board.

thanks mate. yeah i asked their store why they dont use futures and they replied saying their target market were beginner surfers. Kinda turned me off it....
Decided the firewire would be too fragile and expensive to kite on and operate on for a foil and found a decent alternative which is the ECS surfboards Jack rabbit. runs at about 6hunjie. It has bamboo vacuum laminated on top and bottom with carbon rails and future fin boxes. Fairly sure these boards are all coming out of the same factory - Cobra in Thailand.
I've had a couple of SBW boards and they have all gone really well. Here's a pic of a day I surfed a 6'10" Fountain of Youth. No worries. And then I have surfed it waist high.
the Grace is another shape of theirs I like the look of but haven't surfed.
