Does anyone know who stocks Jetpilot vests?
A search and a couple phone calls came back negitive.
At least prefer it to be someone in Busso or Bumbury

I'm not sure of the brands, but we got our vests from Millard Marine in Bunno. That was a long time ago. A mate in Margies has them with ski. I can find out brands if you want. I think they were two different ones. His is much more adjustable than mine, but mine floats better. Painful to paddle in when trying to get out to where the ski can come in sometimes. His is slimmer and easier to lie on a surfboard with. Personally I prefer coming up easier.

Do you know a good one for paddle surfing, Tux? I'd be keen on that.

Nice and slim. My tow vest has buckles across the front and buoyancy over my guts. It's pretty bulky. Checking them out on Google now. Cheers.

Haha... next you'll want the kite to go with it and it'll be smiles all day long
I think that's more an impact vest rather than bouyancy, but if you are only after moderate flotation then best of both worlds. Most bulky part will be upper chest to enable adding a waste harness

Tried kiting and still got two kites, although they haven't been pulled from the bag in a couple of years. It's not that much fun, but it's good it makes you smile. Kiters desperation to let everyone else know how good kiting is makes me smile.

Tux, they use those for paddle surfing? They look pretty bulky?

Kiters are like boogy boarders so whatever floats your boat but anywho this thread is about vests.
You need a vest with no buckles or pads on the stomach. The Jetpilot vest looks good for this but depends how much bouyancy it's got.
A mate last week cracked a couple ribs and punctured a lung from hitting his board. Wearing an impact vest may have protected him but it was small so he didn't wear it this time. He said he will next time.
Another mate has a Jetpilot vest and he has cut the buckles off and cut out the foam around the stomach.
