Nose riding and turns

The guy with the red nose dip was good.Some nice cross stepping and drop knee cut backs.

Great napping vid. I fell asleep within 3 mins. Barely able to turn it off before i drafted off..sure to be a favourite in the future

Thanks for the positive comments, except for that lacy guy, i have nothing to do with the comp, i travel around with my 18 year old son to various comps and I love videoing and editing the action. I recorded over 250gb of video clips and have been inundated with requests from the various contestants to make them personal videos, I love it, and i ride longboards myself. Definately the judges of the log division wanted traditional moves, arched backs, lots of nose work, open division power turns off the foam, tight in the pocket, a lot of guys didnt change their style to suite the judging and paid the price with an early exit. Next comp for me is Byron and then Crescent, hope to produce more videos as long as people are happy to watch them, otherwise Ill go surfing myself.

I thought it was fantastic and appreciate the time and quality from the guy who filmed and edited it.

all surf vids make me sleepy.

I thought his surfing in the final was the best, IMHO.

Yes that's him, agree from what the clip showed, still lovely surfing by all.

Look i understand there a lot of work in there.
But its relentless and too long.
It has no story . There's no relief like a couple bikini or beach or competitor down time shots . No epic failures. No character.
Some more imagination needed. No just a tripod camera aimed at the surf.
Sure the surfing was good . But after a while it all looks the same. its alright for competitor analysis but i would be pretty sure you would be wanting more then that
