While having a beer with my brother, began surmising about the image on his cooler - the cover of Surfing World January 1966.
Manufacturer of the boards? (We didn't recognise the logos. Had always purchased our equipment north of the harbour).
Where taken?
Who were the fellas?
Can anyone out there help?

Gordon Woods sticks out like dogs balls!

Middle one could be Hayden?...Russell worked there in that era.

Head has his board facing the wrong direction!

Yep,. Agree. looks like a Gordon woods on the left and possibly a Hayden in the middle.

the names on the cover are the blokes in the photo.

Robert Connelly, Kev the head and I'm struggling for the middle one...

I'd guess from Wave maniacs post Russell Hughes.

Only Bonza survives, still carving his Outer Island fluid lines around the porkchop in WA
