Still need to wet n dry a little, but she's come up pretty sweet I reckon. I nick name her "the banana boat"

Single Concave

To Double Concave

Plenty of rocker on the rails, but not so much with the single concave scooping it out through the middle.

Can't wait to get her in the water...still deciding on fins, wish I could afford 3 sets. Probably gonna go a set with a 6' centre, coz I already have a 7' & a 9' centres...Was thinking of going with a 8', but don't think it would be as variable as having a 6' in the mix

Yeah most of the state round guys over here ride them. They have a very good rep...I'm very lucky to have picked one up in great condition. The seller is a good bloke

Isn't it a good feeling bring home a new board,Mick that looks in very good condition even has the new logo so it can't be too old.
I also like the tail lift, nice!

Absolutely mate & I'd had a good surf on it before. I was super keen to find some spare coin for it & hoping to negotiate to an affordable point. Luckily the seller had a go of my board & really liked mine, wanting it for bigger waves. It may have scored a trip to the bluff this winter.....the boards a 2014

That's nice mick.

As for fins I'd either go for a 9" single or a 6"middle with some big side fins.

Cheers guys...I bit the bullet & ordered a 2 + 1 set of longboard fins last night. It was either pay $50 to $100 for one centre or $120 for 3. Figured I may as well go for 3 fins supposedly designed to work together. Hopefully get some longboarding conditions by the time they arrive next week

I'll see how it goes, may not be a huge difference with the side fins & I'll be able to put the Ruben centre in if I'm chasing more release. I'll probably grab some Ruben side fins later when they become available

Shapers Fins - 6" Performance - 2+1
Designed by Shapers Longboard Team Riders (and proven favourite between them) the 6.0? Performance Fin is designed to match the latest movement in progressive longboarding. The 6.0? and matching side fins have an slightly more upright shape to give the board a responsive feel with plenty of drive and control. An excellent all-round template. That turns tight, sharp and bite of a thruster but still allows for nose-riding.
Side Fins:
Base: 4.4" (113mm)
Depth: 4.6" (117mm)
Sweep: 31 degrees
Foil: I.F.T(InnerFoilTechnology)
Rear Fin:
Base: 4.8" (122mm)
Depth: 6" (152mm)
Sweep: 30 degrees
Foil: 50/50

Shapers Fins - 5.5" Ruben Roxburgh - 2+1 Bamboo Inlay
Designed by Ruben Roxburgh, The 5.5? RR Pro Series is designed for progressive longboarding and HP boards. That provides the drive & bite of a thruster but still allows for nose-riding.
Side Fins:
Base: 4.44" (113mm)
Depth: 4.52" (115mm)
Sweep: 33 degrees
Foil: I.F.T(InnerFoilTechnology)
Rear Fin:
Base: 4.8" (122mm)
Depth: 5.5" (140mm)
Sweep: 31.9 degrees
Foil: 50/50
