Hey what's the go with wetties in that spot .... I am a warm blooded Lizard & we got 23 degree water temp here - could ya get away with a 3/2 or is it a 4/3 Pyrofreak ( I lerve my O'Neill <<< pimp! >>> wettie) standard ?????

harden up princess

get a mango up yaaaaaaaa

Mango? Bit of a weird fetish there pup...

Ah 4/3? Are you nuts? Haha Na 4/3 is good for most people in winter, but a good 4/3 as you mention. Personally, I am all bone so I am in a 5/4/3 fully sealed billabong suit in the winter but for you guys with a bit of blubber a 4/3 is fine. 3/2s in summer. If you come down to Tassie, shoot us a message and I will show you the places to go mate, so many fanastic uncrowded waves!

Tom don't worry about maths hows the spelling

Thanks TC. Looks like you have had your highlights done. Now what the hell are you doing posting pics of wave skis? I mean 666 are barely tolerated and then you do that One last point - why is the shark biscuit going left? Surely thats not part of the infamous Hobart points?

None of these are the points save for the top one mate. Thought I would ask my brother if I could use his shots before I uploaded them.

Will put them up now!

The later ones were Sam's (brothers-not yours Ted ). He shot them on a 7D with the standard kit 75-300mm from a jetski on the side!

I didn't surf with them that session, shame.

About to upload a few of mine, I didn't get many, surfed most of the time!

Here are a few I got from on the rocks, nice and close!

And another of where I surfed in the morning, but I took this shot in the arvo when it had dropped 2-3ft.

And one of Wedge on the Sunday!

Hope you enjoy guys! See you in Tassie!

As for the goat boater, he was amazing! He was out one of the points that I surfed and was doing 360s and all, he was doing better snaps than I was!

And the lidder was going left as it is at Wedge, one of the beachies in Hobart that is a really good sandy barrel. Short though and not particularly consistent plus crowded.

Your right, all the points are rights. The ones you hear about anyway!

Love your work, Tom. Great pics. The tourism bureau should get you on the payroll. I won't need a wettie til May, but still if there was a right hander like that arvo shot there would be 40 clowns on it . . . good stuff.

Pretty good for a beginner DSLR.

A decent lens though so that always helps!

Cheers for the feedback!

Cheers mate!

Many thousands of photogs to choose from, I would be the last choice! If the points were consistent, I am sure half the goldie would move here.

Plenty of other waves though, we have so many good breaks that don't get crowded and some of them run as long as places the points at Noosa!

Tasmania is the place to be, as our state government says! No jobs though
