I was thinking of getting one of these boards for my daughter and was wondering what you guys know about them
I recently got a second-hand 9'1 fireball and really love the board but so does my daughter and hence I'm left riding my old wide slow longboard
I can't really afford to get another fireball so was wondering how these boards compare to it

If you are looking for good used longboards I would recommend looking for Clearwater Surfboards on Gumtree. Greg the manager puts up heaps of nice used boards for great prices.

Just a suggestion.

So I've just checked and of course he doesn't have any on! Usually has about a dozen boards on. Maybe best to call and speak to Greg. Super helpful guy.

Meeting GT here in Bali there is a good guy on the GC who is known to sell the odd board but Clearwater are making some seriously sick board

I like the look of that.

Not it a lot of rocker and I like the fin set up . Probably get to the nose on that.

As someone that enjoys the buzz of surfing not the glory of owning the hottest looking brand board in the line up (I.e like the hijackers in the forum) I hope you and your daughter enjoy surfing together.

My only issue is I keep seeing new boards from surfers warehouse at the $600 dollar mark and I don't live anywhere near outlet.

My McT was bought in 2006 second hand and at the moment it's my daily ride. I can't change the fins to FSC as the fin boxes are obsolete. Love to try that set up.

Regards
Gilligan
