I'm interested in what others use for fuel, your daily intake on average, food and drink.

Having a similar discussion today with fellow 666ers re food before morning sessions.
Pre session varied from nothing, or a coffee, or a glass of water, an apple and a banana (me) to a glass of warm water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and honey (Google it - I've bought the apple cider vinegar already).
I think (unscientifically) reducing sugar, the chips / biscuits thing, too many carbs (apart from Coopers Sparkling Ale) is good.
ICool Surf Cars much more interesting topic.

Start with these 2 resources.

www.amazon.com/How-Not-Die-Discover-Scientifically/dp/1250066115

nutritionfacts.org

It is up to you in relation to your ideals on meat and fish and the incorporation of these in your diet.

Beyond these - simplicity is the ideal. Closest to the source the food comes from the better it is for you (generally speaking). No need to overthink it... Small changes daily lead to a longer benefit.

I generally use 98 Octane in everything.
Occasionally just do 91...

But always put 98 in the 10 Litre Jerry, which ends up powering the dirt bike, and my race truck!

But more seriously...

One of the best things you can do is;
Drink 1 to 2 glasses of water first up in the morning.
Helps clean the kidneys...

Try and replace the ciggy break with a glass of water break...

1x freshly squeezed lemon with half a glass of water resets my system in the morning (lots of info on the net about this) followed 30mins or so later by cold green tea (antioxidant). Try to start the morning off with the most natural foods possible normally 2x egg whites, 1x whole egg and spinach, followed by oats, find its the best way for me to break the fast and set up for the day. Sometimes after this though the food intake goes all pear shape at times and I'll finish the day off with a scotch or two

Wake up and suck a cone down. Glass,container/vessel of whatever is left over from last night.

Have a darb with a can of coke while I have a crap.

Cough up.some lung butter. If I don't spit it out and I choose to eat it,I'm usually not wanting breakfast...if I do spit it out, breaky could be anything..... Always followed by some cones and a darb.

Then I do some pilates and watch pornhub

some blokes won't get this.
i was really struggling with energy levels while and after surfing.
suffering massive cramps,i found mega magnesium stopped the cramps but energy levels still down and flat as the next day.
i remembered a story about Petero Civoniceva struggling with the same thing.
he use to sweet a lot and his electrolyte levels were way down.
he started hydrating with electrolytes before during and after games then BOOM 80min games.

up here gets pretty bloody hot + water temps up its easy to lose fluid.hydration is a must.

hydration is fuel.

I work outside all day,A big glass of half natural coconut water and half cold water with ice, trust me
or if you want to drink all coconut water that's ok,stops cramps and is a natural electrolyte!...
