Hey Gents

Long-time no speak, I'm in the process of ordering a new board but it seems custom-designed fins are a little hard to come by and everyone that does em currently are looking to stop asap.

Does anyone have a contact in Aus that could pump out a fairly unique fin? I don't want to send this job overseas unless i have to.

Thanks in advance

not sure if he's still doing it, but this guy once mentioned to be that he does the occasional finblank layup if a customer wants something special.

Soar fins.

The bloke out the back of Coffs that Ron Goddard uses? Few blokes got fins from him on here they might have contact details.

I saw one from Bryan bates up tor way on VSC.

Maybe even try Pieter.

What a joke Surfing has become when you can't find some bastard to foil a fin for you.

Pieters fins are made by Australian Fin Company on the GC and they don't do customs.

They don't make all of them. He hand makes some and used to make heaps. Especially in the "old days" pre pop out fins.

Surely all of the hipster Insta shapers that go on about traditional surfing and longboards can foil a ****ing fin..

Oceanstreet Shapes up on the Goldy seems to be doing his own fins. Had a chat to him a while back regarding fins and he seemed pretty switched on.

Think Koma surfboards do them up that way too.
