Hello guys. I have a mate who wants to sell me this old surf board. It about 6ft 6in long, with no designer name or inscriptions on it. It has a few minor dings up towards the nose (its still dirty from hanging in a dusty garage for 30 years). It was bought 2nd hand in the early 80s & never used since then. He wants $300 for it. Can anyone tell me if its worth that ?

Looks to be made in about the late 80's maybe, about 7 foot, really nice strong thick stringer & in pretty good condition. Clean it up & ride it, looks really fun for the small or fat days ![]()
Offer him 250 with the fridge and art thrown in. That board is probably best used as art imho for 350 you can buy a better board from a pop shop, the board looks homemade not bagging it just my pee head opinion
Macs right though,it only appears to be a backyard job with no significant shapers name or logo on it, sorry but at 300 bucks I'd say he'll be owning it for a while.Ive got a few boards similar as yard art that cost me nothing or 50 bucks at best![]()
lol the description changed...+1 on Mac's comment, its worth about 1 carton of his favourite craft beer. $300????
yes - back-yarder I'd say from both the shape and the artwork. Worth a couple of cartons as a wall hanger IMHO...
An unusual one..is the bottom rolled/Hull ?
Overall it says late 60's..design/no plug/fin/graphics/thick stringer....backyarder for sure, but pretty well done.
Worth about $150-200 if you want it.
