Not the first time someone got it so wrong. Duke in Honolulu is facing away from the ocean. Hawaiian waterman of this stature would never turn their back on the ocean and stare longingly towards the shopping mall. They got it right in Huntingdon though.

I agree LL. What an amazing farrrrrk up. Just shows you how clueless some people are or in this case many people are. Absolutely incredible that they could get such a fundamental thing wrong. NFI !!!! If they had any sense they would remove it and re do it. Imagine if Bradman was shown as a leftie - there would be an uproar! But as surfers we should grin n bear it. Hoax.
One of the first rules in project management is to identify the risks that are present in your project. For this project one would imagine that depicting MP as a natural is the most important. Clearly not. AM was far too kind in the interview. Perhaps given that he is the chairman of the reserve he should at the very least take some responsibility for this as well. I still can not believe that they could stuff this up so bad and still go ahead with its unveiling. Idiots.

Seems pretty obvious that no one with any knowledge of MP was consulted about the final draft before the bronze was started..maybe I'm wrong but looks that way to me.
