I had a one board quiver, only cos it was the only board I had and could not afford anymore - 9'6 Fireball.

I don't think anyone would have only one board unless forced too..

Certainly had some interesting sessions on 'Big Red' in some conditions not ideal for a 9'6

Ok mac describe the needs/differences in the quiver.

I look at it now like this. One hp and a log would fill any longboard quiver. To really push it,maybe a allrounder. I'm not mocking you,I just don't get the need to own four longboards, unless it's just to own them. That I understand

Can get by with 3 at the moment. 10 foot log, nano n an outer Island gun. But I also have a 9'2", sweet potato, baked potato n a 6'6" silver bullet plus a 6'5" old school single fin. Have given 2 boards away recently n have 2 more to go. Have a 7'6" single on the go in the shed as well - if I ever find the time to finish it!

Maybe like a 10'6 with a pulled in nose and tail so it still went good on the big days but had enough glide to roll though on the small ones as well...thank god a 1 board quiver is not something I have to contemplate

Looks lethal Roy, Id round the nose off slightly or is that to deter anyone dropping in,can we get a shot of the rocker line and thickness of it,is it a hollow board or solid timber??

1 board quiver... We will all have a different idea on this... You need a board that suits the waves that like to surf, where you live!...

Kelly Slater pretty much rides 2 boards... 1 boards for like under chest high, and 1 board to over that... (excluding big waves guns, etc...)... Obviously Kelly's 2 boards of choice are shortboards.

I could do a 1 board quiver... I think the 9'6 Dick Brewer is very close to being a 1 board quiver...

Otherwise, I would blend these 3... 8'6, 9'0, and 9'6... I would blend the 9'0 and 9'6 together, as a 1 board quiver... I would be very happy!
For me, the pointier nose handles the bigger waves better... And that's what I like to ride!

If I had to pick one Id keep the one on the right mainly because I surf beachies rather than points around here
