Hello,
I have a cheap iSUP model XQ MAX 305, It was left outside inside the box as brand new(was never inflated ) in the sun for a few weeks, would you think its fine to use it? no apparent damages where seen on the iSUP except for some color smudges.
I also thought that since It's being shipped in Container ship from china It's also gets hot inside a container so It should be the same thing.
thank you for your help.

Topical humour. SUP from China ? Anything going on over there at the moment ?
It was purchased long time ago in first half of 2019..
If it was not directly in the sunlight, the only risk are the glue melting with the heat. It could be the pad , the various addons (fin boxes, leash ring, handles), and more seriously the seams.
If it is yours, just try to over-inflate it a bit (e.g inflate to 20+ psi if it is rated for 15) to see if the seams still hold. Better have it burst now than on the water or on a trip. If you plan to buy it, I would try to get a heavy discount, and not get too far from the shore with it :-)

What do you think that?
On the opposite, I am an advocate of sensible advice. Each technology has advantages and disadvantages, different people have different needs, blindly saying "you must never own an inflatable" or "you must only own an inflatable" will irk me immensely. Also, nobody can be truly objective, but I try to not have my personal tastes taint my advice, E.g. I can advise using an inflatable even if I do not personally like the feeling of inflatables.
i would inflate to 12-13 psi, and see how it goes, i had a brand new starboard , out the box, had been sitting in shop in aircon for 12 months and when i inflated it it exploded, the glued seams came apart, if its been in heat i would be cautious
