Only 3" shorter than my shortboards... and you have foot on handle and kick pad at the same time.
I can't seem to get back to the kicker without feeling like I'm stalling.
Been working on this for a while... struggling with it

The flow being a fast board seems to go well in smaller waves ,having the quads gives a bit of lift and rear end power to keep you moving .
i think i would of bogged down a bit on the placid .

Same here creek,might be an age thing,not that we are old but we surfed through a lot of front foot designs,may be a hang over from TheTIMES,LOVED those early days of design break throughs 
I've had 3 days of this size surf and all the pumping to get the board moving ,my ankles are killing me today ,maybe I'm getting old .
I had another think about what you said creek ...my back foot does the back and forward thing ...when doing the cutty its back ,but going along i move it forward ...maybe a foot length ...but I've never been able to turn the flow well without it all the way back ,but yes it does stall a little ....other boards like the acid ,will still turn ok with the foot forward .I would really like to try some more boards ...but which one ..
Great shots Tardy, hopefully I get my repaired/new GoPro soon so I can give it a go in the surf.
funny you'd say that ,I Thought my session was broken ..turning on and off ...and doing weird stuff ...i changed the memory chip ,and it come good ...hope your 9 is not a dud ...
Rear screen cracked after 3 uses. Asked for replacement and waiting for a new one but they are very slow!
