Go easy - just playing around with the GoPro for the first time.
A little mid-winter Melbourne sunshine. Some footage from a 10knot "downwinder" and then playing around in very small waves. Good way to unwind from a busy week at work. Really relaxed, with the one prone surfer going in after 15 minutes, leaving the place completely to me for a couple of hours.
Sometimes there's nothing better than a laid back solo session
I asume PTWoddy and Warwick were out paddling in the fog at Elwood this morning. I hope Warwick has found his booties. MY fingers were ferkin cold on the bike.
Well for Paul, Warwick and others who may have been paddling early this morning, all I can say is that I had to chip the ice off my windscreen at about 7:15am this morning. So I imagine exposed bits would have felt a bit icy too!
Contrary to popular belief, I've smartened up and now wear booties.
Even then, my tootsies were pretty numb by the end of our paddle.
The sun was shining by midway to Green Pt and when PT and I turned around to head back north, the CBD shrouded in mist resembled a long lost city from Lord of the Rings.![]()
